We have selected a few artworks that rather stood out to us, then posted here! Here are the winners:
This first drawing is one mentioning the fracturing of a human face. This abstract art reflected how easily it is for a human being to break down into pieces just like any piece of porcelain. Furthermore, the monotonous hues can be seen as a mark of the tedious daily life that are often repetitive.
In this artwork we can see multiple uncanny elements (the repeating motif of eyes) with a girl painting her own lashes and an antique mirror with a canvas behind. Throughout this painting are strands of watermarks that extend and later combine into the girl and throughout the painting. These eyes reveal how it is: the pressure to stand the increased expectations.
This is an art of a girl, with her eyes emphasised and exquisite. Her hair strands are increasingly thin with a texture just like silk, and her red cherry lips are puffed with dazzling sparkles.
This is an art depicting a girl, with her fleshy cheeks, metallic necklace and her elegant hairstyle all piecing up to a splendid being.
